I am also obsessed with Nick Drake and his music. I was only ten when he died. But have recently become overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of influence his music has had on me. I almost have to have my “Nick Drake fix” daily. My faves are From the morning and Cello Song.

Corey, no one ever claimed Ledger died of narcotics and downers here. Originally I printed they both died from Amitriptyline, which Drake did die from. Ledger, rather, had a cocktail of medicines in him and the post now reflects these facts.

Not to burst your bubble or anything but didn’t Ledger die of an overdose on narcotics and downers, namely hydrocodone, oxycodone, alprazolam, diazepam, and doxylamine? I will say, though, that your treatment of Drake is quite nice. I just wanted to point out a possible error.
