If that’s the case, chances are you might need some local help. A friend who recently traveled through China met some aspiring young college students who are looking for visitors to help out.
They offer hotel and transportation advice/booking, guide services, and tracking down tickets themselves. The sooner the better if you are heading to Beijing as the city will be mad.
