Wow, today was hot and humid. When I moved here, I had to buy an air conditioner/heating unit. I have no idea how my predecessor was able to manage without it.
A little research (read Google search) turned up the temperature chart below for Oita City. It confirmed my suspicions, daily humidity is over 100%.
