Start your engines! The 2007 Pacific typhoon season has officially started in Japan. The first typhoon of the year, dubbed Man-yi, is now upon us in an effort to otherwise spoil a three-day weekend. Bah!
In the Pacific Rim an average of 28 typhoons strike. Only a portion, anywhere from 3 to 12 roughly, will make land in Japan.
You can track the typhoons via the Japan Meteorological Agency.
